About us
A brief description
The Wiesenmühle is a rustic brewery with an impressive outdoor restaurant.
We serve home-brewed beer, pizza from the wood-fired oven and German cuisine. As a meeting place for young and old for over 30 years, we stand for an inviting supra-regional brewery culture and a good time for our guests. Beautiful tables, rustic mill flair and a cozy brewery ambience await you. There is a lot to discover in our 13th century house:
2 catering areas
Brewery with new brewhouse
our small hop garden
the largest mill wheel in Europe
3-star hotel
renovated conference rooms
Experience gastronomy

We are a gastronomic experience.
The brewing kettles are right next to the bar and a large window in the warehouse provides a view of the beer tanks from the beer garden.
We brew between 10 and 20 types of beer every year, and there is also plenty of live music and other cultural events.
In any case, the following awaits you in 2023:
- Regular tapping of specialty beers
- every Wednesday schnitzel day
- Live soccer broadcasts, also in the beer garden during European and World Cups
- Bookable beer seminars with the master brewer
- Bookable craft beer tastings with a beer sommelier
- Carnival stronghold around Rose Monday

Meadow mill beer
Amber-colored, naturally cloudy and brewed strictly according to the purity law of 1516.
Our Wiesenmühlenbier is golden yellow, naturally cloudy and with a sublime head in the glass. On the palate it is tangy, malty and subtle. The mouthfeel is great: freshness, residual sweetness and hop aroma spread across the tongue. You can taste a slightly bitter note in the aftertaste. But after a short moment, the taste buds are free again and the desire for the next sip grows.
The recipe for our beer is a secret blend of regional quality malts, selected aromatic hops and soft brewing water, fermented with fine, lively brewer’s yeast.
